Haven is back next week on Syfy with all-new episodes of the back half of season five, which will unfortunately be its last. The premiere picks up with the characters where they left off: Dr. Cross (Laura Mennell) combined Mara (Emily Rose) and Audrey (also Rose) back into one body, but by doing so, all the troubles are released from Duke (Eric Balfour). It’s now up to them, as well as Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Dwight (Adam Copeland) to try to stop the havoc and protect the town.

In preparation for the final episodes, Rose and Copeland recently talked to the media about what’s coming up on Haven.

At the start of the back half of the season, secrets are exposed. The two talked to SciFi Vision about how that will affect the townspeople, as well as the main characters having to deal with them.

According to Copeland, "I think, much to Dwight's chagrin, it definitely makes his job harder.

"...But I do think that this season definitely, just from my character’s standpoint, well, from every characters' standpoint, it really pulls them as much as the threads can be pulled. There’s a lot that happens, there’s a lot that goes on and there’s a lot to bottle up and keep contained and is that possible? It’s just a volatile season, which is great."

Compassion and choices. That's what the premiere of Doctor Who is really about in the end. Does the Doctor still have compassion; is he a good man? He struggles with these questions throughout the premiere - his leaving of Davros as a boy could very well have made him the monster that he is, yet his change of heart to later save him gives Davros and the Daleks the understanding of mercy.

Davros questions The Doctor towards the end of part two if he could commit genocide - as a choice, not as self-defense but a choice. This is actually a resurgence of a similar choice, as The Doctor faced the same predicament in "Genesis of the Daleks" in the original series. He then, as well as in this episode, chooses the higher road. Though Davros has shown his compassion not to always be a good choice, saying it might kill him in the end.

His compassion is a big part of what makes The Doctor who he is, rather than someone like Missy: he is a good man, whether he accepts the fact or not.

On Gotham, Pertwee plays Alfred Pennyworth, butler to the Wayne's Family. After the elder Waynes' death, he took over the role of protecting their son, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), who would later grow up to be Batman.

Gotham airs all-new episodes of season two, Mondays on FOX.

As part of the Wizard World Convention in Pittsburgh, Sean Pertwee took time to talk with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview

The actor loves everything about working on the series. "Everything. I mean, it's the type of show, I've said this before, that would irritate me if I wasn't actually being involved in it. I love opening every new script, because it's like Christmas comes early every year. Because we don't even really know what's happening until we've actually opened the next script. I love working with David Mazouz, who plays Master Bruce, who's a superlative actor, as is the rest of our company. We're a very tight knit unit now; we're very fond of each other. Going to work is a dream really, and the thing is, it's very rare that you are actually in show where the only frustrating thing is that you're actually not working everyday. It really is like that, and that's the atmosphere on set."
